Detailed description is My goal is to serve traditional Italian food, in a warm and friendly atmosphere, at an affordable price.That is the only way my father would have it! As an Italian Immigrant coming to America in 1966, Filippo Valenti had a dream of owning his own business some day.
1968 was the year my father tried his hand at making pizza.
This pizzeria, owned by a family member, was located in Manhattan near what is now know as Madison Square Garden.
He learned many valuable lessons in the pizzeria such as quality control; handling of staff and respecting guests; and the daily preparation pizza dough and sauce! .

In 1972, Filippo decided it was time for him to move on.
He had his own family and two little boys, Vito and Carmelo.
He purchased the Roman Delight Restaurant (A Pizzeria & Italian style Restaurant) in the Horsham, Pa.
area.
With his tireless efforts and strong will, he made his first business a huge success! .

My father’s forward thinking on expanding the everyday pizzeria business into his own personal kitchen, helped him succeed.
He brought with him from the old country a hard work ethic and secret recipes, which my brother and I continue to carry on.
Filippo Valenti had many more journeys.
He branched out into Pottsville, Pa.
in the mid 1970s and then to Schuylkill Haven, Pa.
in the early 1980s.
