Detailed description is Overview The Cataract Yacht Club is a non-profit member ran organization located on Cataract Lake near Lieber State Park.
We are located near Cloverdale Indiana just off I-70 about 30 min south-west of Indianapolis.
We have been in operation since the 1950’s.
Our organization is comprised of social member and boating members.
We offer a fun family atmosphere that has allowed us to attract members ranging in ages from 18-93.
We have a 5000 square foot clubhouse that includes lots of seating, card tables, pool table, darts, shuffle board, music, karaoke, cable TV, showers, a commercial style kitchen plus much more..

We have a private marina that offers a number of amenities including:.

52 boat slips.
24 hour security guard/ security person.
Electricity.
Common area dock that includes running water, grill, tables, chairs, fire pit, radio, etc..
Trash disposal area.
Fishing.

Since we are a non-profit member ran club we are able to keep the costs lower than any other marina or boating organization in the state (based on the research we have done)..

Every Friday night we offer a catered buffet style dinner that is prepared in our commercial kitchen by our hired cooking staff.
We host a large number of social events every year for our members and the majority of the events are also open to our extended families and friends.
Some of the events include: St.
Patrick’s day party, Christmas party, New years party, Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville party, bands, bean dinner, card and euchre party, pool tournament, poker runs on the lake, and boating tie-ups on the lake with bands just to name a few.
There are also a number of other events.
Members have full access the clubhouse, men’s and women’s showers, large barn with tools for working on boats and other projects, water hose for cleaning boats, plus much more.
We have a board of directors that make a lot of the decisions concerning the monthly club operations.
We also have a women’s axillary called the CY’s that hosts a lot of the events and parties, coordinate community service events/donations, etc...
