CIAO! the Center for Introduction to Architecture Overseas, is a three-week summer program geared toward high school students ages 16 and older to explore architecture, landscape architecture, and planning.
With Rome as a living laboratory, students are immersed in a week-long exploration of the evolution of built form from antiquity to modern times.

Students then spend two weeks at the Center, in Sant'Angelo in Pontano, working on a design project in an atelier environment.
The students master freehand sketching, model-making and designing with Google SketchUp.
At the completion of the project they present their efforts to the mayor of the village.
