Whether it’s through our monthly meetings held (September-May) that often feature a local guest speaker to talk about the spiritual side of our lives or explore the history of the church, the meetings are always lively and engaging; or through our community involvement that includes collecting toiletries for a shelter, delivering healthy snacks to an inner city school or providing a breakfast and special activities for a women’s shelter, or knitting blankets for young mothers, our members find fulfillment in giving back to the community.
Our card parties in the spring and fall also provide financial support to Healing Connections.
Our members also assist in fund raising efforts (the Rusty Ball, the Pennies from Heaven raffle, the Catholic Telegraph ad and the Kroger card program) that help us generate money for the Continuing with Confidence scholarship.
All these activities bring us together as Catholic Women of all ages, from all walks of life, from all neighborhoods.
