The Clean Tahoe Program responds to citizen complaints, and works in conjunction with City and County agencies to remove visible litter and illegally-dumped articles from vacant lots and along roadside easements..

Courtesy Notices.
We remind businesses, rental managers, local residents and off-site property owners of City and County litter ordinances by issuing Courtesy Notices when violations are observed or reported.
Copies of these notices are posted on the property and mailed to owners.
Clean Tahoe re-inspects the property in 10 days, and, if needed, refers the problem to the appropriate jurisdiction for further enforcement..
