Moran III, Administrator Divine Redeemer parish was dedicated on July 2, 1995 as a result of the merge of the former Lithuanian parish Holy Cross, the Slovakian parish Saint John the Baptist, the Italian parish Saint Peter's, and the Polish parish Our Mother of Consolation (the current Divine Redeemer) all of Mount Carmel and the Saint Paul Chapel in Atlas..

On January 4, 1896, the "Mount Carmel Item" newspaper contained a story of a group of people from Saint Joseph's parish in Mount Carmel purchased land on the Avenue to construct a brand new church.
A small two-story building was built in order to house the school and church until the new much larger building could be finished.
On February 13, 1897, the first mass in the newly established parish was celebrated.
The construction of the current building was under way at the turn on the 20th century.
On August 15, 1905, the cornerstone of Our Mother of Consolation was blessed and the church was dedicated on May 30, 1906..

The original interior of Our Mother of Consolation was renovated to give Divine Redeemer a new, modern look bringing various pieces from the different parishes that were involved in the merger in 1995.
