Dulce - Body Dessert Bar was born in October 2012, initially based out of St.
Louis, Missouri and now operates out of Atlanta, Georgia.
The concept came about with the founder's struggle to find the right moisturizing skin product during the dry, winter months.
Layers of various store bought products and concoctions of lotions only sufficed for so long and proved to be too expensive of an experiment to continue.
Frustrations finding products thick and moisturizing enough to handle her dry skin began an ongoing project to become an expert in natural skincare solutions - from herbs to butters.
As an avid foodie and sap for all things sweet, this newfound knowledge proved to be more than useful in the kitchen.
Coming across a nifty cupcake scented soap in the store one day, this ignited a slew of new ideas.
