It started out quite small with my great Aunt letting me use part of her garden to plant and she guided me through the steps necessary to keeping up and maintaining a garden.
after the plants took over the garden, we realized that I had too many for myself and she told me that we should sell them.
So that was the first year I sold pumpkins and it was surprisingly very successful.

Later that year she was diagnosed with lung cancer.
In 2012 when it came to planting pumpkins again, I asked if we could do the same as last year an she agreed.
She was not able to help me as much as though she was sick.
I did whatever I could to make sure that year was as successful as the year before, and I achieved that goal.

In January of 2013 My great Aunt passed away after a 2 year battle with cancer.
My first question was about who would get the lot the garden was on, and i was determined that I would get it.
That same year I managed to get the garden and plant again in memory of her.
This was the first year i donated pumpkins to the local church in memory of her.

from 2014 to 2015 I continued planting pumpkins and trying to donate wherever possible.
I always donate a pumpkin of two to the local church and to elders that live around the area.

In 2015 I painted 55 gourds we had left over with the help of my mom, so we could send them to the University Hospital for them to give to the paediatrics ward to help brighten a little kids day.
It was a major success and a major accomplishment that I have had through the years.
