When I was younger I remember playing with those bulky plastic beads with elastic cord and making obnoxious bracelets.
As time went on I left the fun and did other things, focused on school and continued.
The beads and elastic cord was set to sit in the bottom organizer drawer for a rainy day.
As time went on I found a new artistic passion in ceramics and enjoyed that for a time.
It was much easier to enjoy when I was in school and they had a kiln I had full access to! .

Now, I have successfully graduated from school and have begun to work towards my dream career.
In the process I had found myself opening up that old organizer drawer and saw those bright beads.
From there I went to the store and found an owl pendant I really liked, the only bummer was I didn't have a chain for it to hang on.
As I looked around I saw a chain in the store that would work perfectly with the owl I liked, then a clasp that matched.
I was in great luck! From that simple owl grew the desire to make a bracelet, then a pair of earrings, and from there I have started to make all that has found a way into my creative mind.

Since those bulky beads and that simple little owl I have grown in my tools and materials.
I now look at the different kinds of chain I would want to use for a necklace pattern.
I see the the colors in the glass beads and what I can incorporate with it to make an elegant bracelet.
Do I want to use gold or silver? Do I want it to stand out or be a subtle beauty? .
.
I look at wire and think of how I may bend it, tweak it, and twist it for a beautiful design.
I want to take the image in my mind and make it into something beautiful that can be seen and touched.
I create jewelry for the sake of doing something I enjoy and have joined Etsy to share that joy with others and so was born Evari Jewelry Designs.
As you have no doubt looked at my shop's page you may ask, why are there cat ears in your banner at the top of your page? I am more than happy to share that I have two feline companions of my own and they are a great inspiration for my jewelry.
I very rarely ever work alone at my table.
My beads are always being batted around, my tools are getting knocked over, and my table is always becoming a cat bed in some way.
These two not only help me come up with new patterns but they have taken a great part in creating the Evari Jewelry Designs name..
