Stonewood is a modest agricultural plantation built in the late 1800's by one of two brothers who founded a local hospital.
It was originally over 200 acres of agricultural land.
Maison Stonewood was separated on 5 acres and the agricultural property was sold - but the 200 acres of agricultural land is still part of a working farm with vegetable production and cattle.
All the original farm land surrounds Stonewood, protecting the rural atmosphere.
The house, made of architectural stone, is set way back off the small country highway, so it is very quiet.
We live in an area that is highly populated by artists and we love having many artists as neighbors.
