Marianne moved to Tahoe after attending art school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to enjoy the diversity of outdoor recreation and small town ambiance South Lake Tahoe offers..

Forest Furniture specializes in creating several styles of beautiful chairs and benches, utilizing Tahoe's abundant supply of used skis and snowboards.
Every ride with a multitude of personal stories to tell of amazing people and days spent on the mountains and slopes of Lake Tahoe years ago.
Forest Furniture uses equipment from all periods but predominately skis from the 60's, 70's and 80's.
These skis and snowboards have been reincarnated into charming indoor and outdoor cabin furniture.
