A little about "G·Lĭl·Vā." My name is Heather Grillo, wife to Jake and mother to our three beautiful daughters and wild little boy!! I have had a love for photography, cameras and the arts since high school.
I use to spend my extra classes in the dark room, where I would develop the photos I had taken with my 35mm.
Since then, I have taken pictures for many people for as long as I could remember, both for fun and for work! My very first wedding was at the beach in 1999!! I had a variety of photography "jobs" through the years on the side.
I had taken several art / photography courses in college.
After I graduated from Penn State, we moved to Maryland to pursue our careers and worked in the college and healthcare industry.
Not long after, we moved back to Windber to be near family.
Shortly after we had our first daughter, I decided I wanted to stay at home where I continued to immerse in the photography and helped with our other family owned business (Grillos Inc).
In December 2011, I finally decided to put my name on my work and announced the offical opening of GiLilVe Boutique & Photography | heather grillo, and the rest is history! Thank you for visiting, I hope you enjoy! As well, we thank you for supporting our local family owned businesses! .
