The Greater Shelburne Falls Area Business Association was founded in the early 1980's with its original name of Shelburne Falls Businessmen’s Association.
Recognizing a need for such an organization, a handful of Bridge Street merchants got together to promote the Village of Shelburne Falls.
They were the founders of events that occurred on Bridge Street throughout the year.
The most remembered is Moonlight Magic, then called Moonlight Madness.
This event continues to be a favorite as it ushers in the Christmas Shopping Season, drawing visitors from throughout Western Massachusetts..
