Detailed description is Habitat for Humanity Edmonton is a faith-based, charitable organization who provides hard working families with a "hand up" into home ownership.
We build and renovate homes with the help of our incredible volunteers! Founded in 1991, Habitat for Humanity Edmonton (HFHE) is a non-profit organization working towards a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live.
Our mission is to mobilize volunteers and community partners in building affordable housing and promoting homeownership as a means to breaking the cycle of poverty.
With the help of over 3,500 volunteers, we have provided many families with safe, decent and affordable housing across northern Alberta.

ReStore:.
We also operate three retail outlets called ReStore.
Our ReStores accept donations of new and gently-used building materials and vintage items and then sell them back to the general public.
The proceeds from ReStore are used to fund the administrative costs of our builds.
