Detailed description is Bloeiende muziekvereniging in Dinther, voor jong en oud!!!.
Harmonie Sint Servaes is in 1930 opgericht als kerkelijke Fanfare door kapelaan Sanders.
In totaal werden 27 muziekinstrumenten aangeschaft, waarvan zes in bruikleen.
In 1931 werden zes klarinetten aangeschaft en werd Sint Servaes een harmonie.

Door de jaren heel zijn er veel ontwikkelingen geweest, welke te vinden zijn op onze website www.st-servaes.nl bij het onderdeel geschiedenis..
In 2010 werd het 80-jarig jubileum groots gevierd.
Op dit moment bestaat de vereniging uit zes orkesten.
Het grote harmonieorkest met ongeveer 60 leden, het opleidingsorkest met ongeveer 20 leden en het opstaporkest met ongeveer 10 leden.
Bij het slagwerk zijn drie selecties.
De A-selectie heeft 18 leden.
Verder zijn er twee jeugd/opleidingsselecties te weten de B-selectie met 10 leden en de C-selectie met 10 leden.

Naast deze 'orkestleden' zijn er ook nog diverse leerlingen, die les hebben..

Het harmonieorkest komt uit in de Tweede Divisie.
De slagwerkgroep promoveerde in 2010 naar de Eerste Divisie..

Dit jaar hebben wij onze intrek genomen in de voormalige drukkerij van de Abdij van Berne.
Met steun van fondsen en sponsoren, maar zeker ook met meer dan 2000 uur vrijwilligerswerk uit onze eigen leden, konden we op 22 juni 2014 De Muziekfabriek openen.
Een lang gekoesterde wens ging in vervulling!
