Detailed description is Hartland Winery is located in the rolling hills of northern DeKalb County about 35 minutes north of Fort Wayne.
We love making wine for both the seasoned and the not so seasoned wine drinker.

HOW IT STARTED.
When Alan planted a vineyard and then started making wine in Brenda’s kitchen about 10 years ago, there was never any thought of opening a winery.
But, when he started entering wine competitions and winning bronze, silver, gold and double gold, it became clear that he had an untapped talent; so Alan and Brenda began making plans.
Those plans took 7 years to come to fruition but we are so happy to share our dream with you.

THE VINEYARD.
Our vineyard is planted currently on 3 acres with another .75 acres to be planted in 2017.
By having our own grapes we have more control over the quality of the wine we make..
