Detailed description is The Page of the High School Wind Ensemble Institute is for students and music educators interested in making great music via the wind band medium.
The High School Wind Ensemble Institute is a summer 7-day residential music camp on the beautiful campus of Susquehanna University.
Fifty-four students are accepted via audition to study privately with faculty and to rehearse and perform in the Institute Wind Ensemble.
In addition and perhaps most importantly, students are placed in one of 12 chamber groups: three woodwind quintets, three brass quintets, flute quartet, two clarinet quartets, saxophone quartet, tuba quartet and percussion ensemble.
OUR DATES FOR 2015 ARE JUNE 21-27.
