From there I would give ideas as to color choices, shopping options & where the best places are to go to meet those needs.
Once we've decided on a direction I'd go home & make a storyboard to email you which would have a layout of color pallet, textures, furniture, etc.
so you can visualize all the pieces together & could keep you from being overwhelmed.

I have often found that a client is able to just use a consultation (rather than thousands of dollars in designer fees) & take the rest from there based on the direction & instruction I give.
If once you make purchases & need additional help I could return for a small fee to assist with room layout, accessory placement, etc.
