She is a born and raised local from the Murphy area.
After graduating from Murphy High School, she attended Western Carolina University for a short time before marrying her husband, Caleb Pope.
They spent 8 years traveling from the East to West Coast of Florida with the United States Coast Guard.
Eventually landing in Mobile, Alabama for the final 3 years of their active duty career.
In the spring of 2016 they took the leap and left active duty and headed back to the mountains to make their hometown their HOME again.
Shortly after the move they also were surprised and graciously gifted with the privilege of becoming first-time parents through adoption.
Their sweet son, Sawyer Lee was born and welcomed into the Pope family in May of 2016.
She obtained her NC Real Estate license in July of this year and will be working alongside a Appalachian Land Company Veteran who is also her Mother-in-law, Karen Pope.
