Our home has been a gathering place for decades.
Now with the children grown and friends busy with grandchildren, it was time to invite the world in to enjoy the charm of this beautiful region of the United States.

We are located on one the nation’s greatest treasures, Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.
We are part of Pres.
Roosevelt’s grand scheme to produce enough power from one of our own resources, water.

Lake Place is a 3,200 sq foot home on 3 wooded acres about 2 blocks from the 186 mile long Kentucky Lake.
We are nestled just across the lake from Land Between the Lakes, a National Recreation Area with their own elk and bison preserve, 1800s town, planetarium and more.
The front yard is a wild flower garden that attracts wild life of many varieties.
We have three lovely dining areas inside and three decks and patios for outside dining and relaxing.
The main living area is center pieced by a 10-foot stone fireplace which burns with glory in the cooler months of the year.

Lodging is provided in The Rose Room, the Antique Room and The Suite with breakfast in the morning and appetizers in the afternoon.
