The Institute is an umbrella organization for campus- and community-related LGBTQ activities, serving as advisor, liaison, advocate, consultant, and collaborator for its various constituents.
It seeks to enhance and support other entities, as well as develop its own initiatives, all in the service of improving the lives of LGBTQ people across race, ethnicity, social class, ability, and transnationality on campus, in the community, and in the larger society.
