Detailed description is The Board Club @ UCLA is a recreational Ski/Snowboarding club for UCLA students Upon arriving at school freshman year, a close-knit group of friends sharing a passion for snow sports went in search of the various ski/snowboard opportunities UCLA had to offer.
To their surprise UCLA didn't have a ski club - only a ski team.
Although the team is well established and offers great boarding and skiing opportunities, its sign-up cost and enrollment in competitions didn't identify with the crew.
They were interested in a cheaper, more laid back atmosphere where people could just kick it and hit the slopes.
The idea for a UC Board Club was born..

The Board Club @ UCLA is a recreational snowboarding/skiing club that is associated with snowboarding clubs at the other UC campuses, most of which have hundreds of members..

The all-UC trips are on a much bigger scale.
Organized by all of the UC clubs together, the week long All-Cal trip over Winter Break and President's Day weekend NorCal trip offer multiple days on the mountain, stays in cabins/hotels, raging parties, and the opportunity to meet a variety of people from other UC campuses who share our love for the snow, all at an extremely discounted price.
