Detailed description is We are a family owned farm in NE Mississippi, raising registered British White cattle.
When available, we sell registered cattle as well as top quality, grass fed beef .
Beef can be purchased in whole and half cow shares and in 40 lb boxes of ground beef.
The Farm - Lost Prairie Farm is a small family owned cattle and tree farm in Lowndes County, Mississippi.
Located along the western edge of the Black Prairie which traverses NE Mississippi down into western Alabama, we are blessed with highly fertile prairie soils and many native grass species.
Our cattle graze these native grasses as well as fescue, Bermuda, dallisgrass, vetch and several types of clover..

The Cattle - We raise registered British White cattle and have some of the very best British White genetics found anywhere in the United States.
Cows, bulls and heifers are occasionally available to be purchased.

Grass Fed Beef - Beef is purchased primarily in two ways.
1) whole or half cow shares allowing the buyer to have the animal custom processed as desired, or 2) in 40 lb.

The entire animal, including steak cuts, is ground together giving you the highest quality and tastiest ground beef found anywhere.
