Detailed description is MIT Academy is Vallejo's first public charter school serving 900 6th-12th grade students utilizing a technology based curriculum in North Vallejo.
Mare Island Technology Academy is Vallejo's first charter school, opened in 1999.
We are a public charter, and ALL students are eligible to attend - there is no tuition.
Charter schools are held to high accountability standards for student achievement and financial operation.
We receive funds from the same State and local sources as other public schools.
