Detailed description is Messy Church was created to guide children Pre-K-8th grade to a close, fulfilling, lasting relationship with God through Messy fun and loud joyous Worship.
Messy Church was created by the members of the First United Methodist Church in Mt.
Olive IL.
Children pre-school - 8th grade gather together every Wednesday evening for song, dance, bible study, story telling, puppet shows, interactive Bible lessons, crafts and prayer.
This program runs during the school year and breaks in the summer.
During the summer months they work on Community outreach and service, walk in the local parades and fundraise.
We have about 50 children from other local Churches and those with no Church affiliation joining our ranks on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8 pm.
We also provide transportation services for those within the Mt.
Olive school district.
