In November 1987 a small group of member representing the Pastoral Search Committee of Mt.
Calvary Baptist Church recommended to the church body to elect my wife Dorothy and I to become the 3rd Pastoral Ministry team of the church.
It was on the 1st Sunday of December of that year I became, by the grace of God, Pastor elect of the church..

It is with great joy that we celebrate the Golden Anniversary of the founding of Mt.
Calvary Missionary Baptist Church this year.
We are also celebrating the Silver Pastoral Anniversary on this occasion as the 3rd Pastor of this great church.
Benjamin Baker said that the anniversary time “is a celebration for what the Lord has done in the life of his people.” For many years, God has stood by our side.
We recognize that God gets all the Praise and the Glory as we look at what God has done, it is marvelous in our eyes.
We have come this far by faith leaning on the Lord, trusting in his Holy word.
He has never failed us yet..
