While we will and do incorporate some sports specific ball drills, our primary focus is to increase their speed, agility, and strength.

Our training focuses on learning the proper way to run, increasing speed, acceleration, improving change of direction, and quickness.
Many athletes no matter where they are in their skill development have some deficiencies in the way they run.
Through all of our sessions we will put considerable emphasis on getting the kinks out of the athletes' running form.
We consider this the most important priority in our training sessions as it will take a little bit of time to break the previously formed habits and become comfortable with the new body positioning.
Additionally, this is where you will see instant speed improvements.
The form that we want everyone to run with is "cheek to cheek" (hands moving from butt cheek to face cheek), shoulders slightly leaning forward, knee and foot driving straight up with the foot just stepping over the opposite knee, weight on the ball of each foot with minimal "heel dip" as the foot impacts the ground.
As this form becomes more and more fluid/nature the acceleration and straight line speed should improve.

Our sessions are typically broken into several Phases were we incorporate different drills that focus on a particular performance attribute..

Phase 1: Quick feet drills: The purpose of these drills are to improve the speed of the athlete's feet movement during moves on the field and how quickly their feet can turn over to accelerate.
Acceleration in the first 5, 10, and 15 meters are critical in soccer or any other sport that requires explosive movements in order to "win the ball", recover, or get to a position first.
If you watch those athletes who are the best in their particular sports they are typically quicker and can accelerate faster then their opponents.

Phase 2: Change of direction: We work in many different drills with some having a high focus on changing direction in tight spaces and others which work on getting into space, sticking your foot into the ground and open up acceleration to a point.
All the variations of the drills are about staying tight on turns and moving in straight lines.
During these drills we are work on removing rounding in individuals' turns and moving in a straight line to get where you are going faster.
This skill is needed as the players make diagonal runs to get away from defenders..

Phase 3: Power: We on power through plyometric jumps and resistance band training.
This will help the athletes build strength in their legs to translate into quicker cuts, higher jumps, and more powerful shots.

Each session we will incorporate abs and other strength building exercises.

Phase 5: Conditioning - We end every session with conditioning.
Our conditioning is intended to help build an athletes' endurance through activity the is in alignment with their sport.
We condition with various short to medium sprints and changes of direction to reflect the type of activity they see in a game..
