Detailed description is The Music Department of Northland Pioneer College Under the direction of Music Professor Julie Neish, The NPC Music Department currently has four performing ensembles: the Northland Master Chorale, Soundcheck (vocal pop and jazz), Snap! a swing jazz band, and a musical theatre ensemble that does a smaller show each spring.
The Spring 2013 show is Jason Robert Brown's "Songs For A New World." The music and theatre departments combine for a large musical theatre production each fall.
