Detailed description is Rural Bookmobile East Serves Chaves, Curry, Eddy, Guadalupe, Lincoln, Otero, Quay & Roosevelt Counties as well as the communities of Amistad & Conchas Dam in NM Rural Bookmobile East is a free library and information service that provides books, magazines, newspapers, and audiovisual materials on all kinds of subjects to the rural communities of Eastern and Southeastern New Mexico.
It is a part of the New Mexico State Library and one of three bookmobiles that operate in the state.
Each bookmobile carries up to 4,000 volumes and makes a monthly route of regularly scheduled stops in the rural communities in its region.
