Detailed description is We cater all of your baking needs! In June of 2013, my husband and I opened up a bakery.
It all started when I finished up my classes in "Cake Decorating" in Billings in 2008.
Continuing, as of to date, with my online courses.
(A never ending class.) We decided to take out one bedroom and my laundry room and add a commercial kitchen to our home.
Why you ask? I love to bake and decorate.
Now I am not just your ordinary cake decorator, I am a culinary artist.
I create works of art with gum paste and fondant.
My flowers are hand crafted to perfection.
Hand brushed for the life like look.
It all started out as a hobby when I was going to college.
(in 2008.) I would do cakes for class mates, they would find a picture of a cake that they liked and I would try and remake it.
I guess you can say that is how it all started.
With cakes that is.
But I have been decorating cakes most of my adult life.
Mom would decorate all of our Birthday cakes.
I would watch and learn from this amazing woman.
She taught me everything I know about baking and decorating.
The only time I ever paid attention to anything.
Then I started working with gum paste and fondant while going to college.
That is when the fun really started.

I have been collecting recipes for so many years that I have enough for a book.
My mother has passed down many recipes to me.
Some from memory, many in her own hand writing.
These I will cherish forever.
Some I will not give out.
My mom was German; she knew how to cook and how to bake.
My grandmother on my dad’s side was Irish.
I grew up with many Irish meals with German desserts, and vise versa.
When I married my husband Leroy, I married into a whole new culture.
Native American on his father’s side, and Croatian on his mother’s side.
There my love for Christmas pie began.
My mother-in-law Lillian taught me many great dishes, which I have in my cook book..
Parr Creek Custom Cakes name came from our address.
We live on Parr Creek.
The two roses that are on my card are a reminder of my mother and my sister Jo-Ann.
The red is for mom (she loved red roses) who taught me everything about the kitchen and how to bake.
The yellow rose is for my sister, who I lost to cancer on August 21, 2013.
Jo gave me the inspiration and the courage to start my business.
The butterfly that I put on my cakes is a symbol for my soul mate and best friend.
My husband Leroy.
