Hobbs is a professional vocalist and a performing arts instructor with a private studio.
She holds a masters degree in music from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins Institute & taught voice at the University of Tampa and Valdosta State University..

I offer instruction in classical vocal training as well as Broadway and popular styles.
I believe singing is 50% technique and 50% psychology, so not only do we work on singing beautifully with a healthy technique, we also will address overcoming mental roadblocks standing in your way of thoroughly enjoying the creative process and the act of singing..

In addition to vocal training, I also offer piano lessons and acting lessons.
Some people enjoy combination lessons (voice/piano, voice/acting, acting/piano), so if you are so inclined, please ask about the possibilities.

I accept piano and acting students as young as 8 years old.
I will accept voice students starting at 10 years old.
There is no upper age limit – you are never too old to explore your voice or to improve your performance skills!! Vocal training requires 1 hour sessions.
Piano and Acting lessons can be either 30 minutes ($30) or 1 hour ($50), depending on your preference.
I recommend once a week lessons, but if there are issues with finances or scheduling, I can accommodate a bi-monthly schedule.

Lessons take place at my studio at 421 East 49th Street in Savannah, Georgia.
You can sign up for a lesson on my calendar…contact me for the user name and password.

Cancellation policy: If you cancel your lesson within 24 hours, I will not have enough time to schedule another student in your time slot, so you will be asked to pay for that half of that lesson time.

If you cancel within 24 hours of your lesson, you will be charged for half of the lesson ($25 for an hour lesson).
If we are able to reschedule your lesson for the same week, you will not be charged.
