(7) MY STYLE.
I like to maximum that calorie burn through interval training combining both strength and cardio based exercises.
I like to focus on structural and compound exercises as they involve multiple joints, as well as focusing on high intensity anaerobic exercise that make you breathless such as HIIT (high intensity interval training).
It burns a huge amount of calories and for me personally it provides variety and the workouts are more interesting! .

I have always been interested in fitness, and being active.
Over the years I have weight trained and ran, including several half marathons, and in 2004 a half ironman triathlon.
I obtained my certification as a personal trainer in 2009 and shortly afterward I also became certified as a pre/post natal specialist.
I have worked at C&C Fitness as a fitness instructor/personal trainer (2010-2012), and currently at Natural High Fitness as a fitness instructor (2013).
Starting in 2012 I branched out on my own offering personal training and group fitness from my home in Ravencrest Village, just East of Okotoks.
I love it!.
Additionally, I am currently working on a natural nutrition certification so if you hear me talk about the importance of a clean diet do not be surprised! .
My greatest gains in fitness, strength, and weight loss came with the introduction of high intensity or metabolic training, and really pushing that comfort zone, as well as ensuring my diet was on track.
That explains why I love it and really think it's important to push yourself during all workout sessions!!!.
