Detailed description is Serving the outdoor enthusiast for over 30 years, Red River Stables, owned by Dirk and Kathy Neal, invites you to come ride the scenic Sangre de Cristo mountains of northern New Mexico the way it was done 100 years ago – on horseback! .

Rides are available for all levels from beginner to the most experienced riders.
We offer a wide range of options from hourly rides to all day treks.
You can combine your ride with fishing, hiking and wildlife viewing.
We even offer some winter rides, weather permitting.

*What do I wear?.
Long pants, shirt and cowboy boots are preferable.
If you don’t have cowboy boots, then you need to wear a sturdy pair of shoes.
NO SANDALS! In case of inclement weather, please bring a rain jacket and hat.
If it is a nice sunny day then sunscreen is a must!.

Unless it is a thunder storm we will still go out.
