Tayla Davis is our instructor and trainer.
She is a lifelong horsewoman and has participated in many disciplines growing up with her quarter horses.
Tayla has experience in hunter/jumpers, western pleasure, gymkhana events and has competed in both the intercollegiate and interscholastic polo circuits.
She attended Johnson & Wales University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Equine Business Management/Riding and concentrations in Instructor/Trainer and Entrepreneurship.
While attending JWU, she became passionate about dressage, which has been her main focus since then.
She currently owns two fantastic dressage horses and has had the opportunity to work with many top dressage trainers in the New England area.
She regularly continues her education through lessons on her own horse and participating in clinics whenever possible.

In addition, Tayla has extensive experience in horse care and first aid.
She has owned and cared for her own horses for more than 14 years.
Over the past few years Tayla has also assisted an Equine Surgical Specialist and has expanded her veterinary knowledge by assisting in a variety of equine surgeries.

Tayla is thrilled to bring her experience and knowledge to Roseland Acres Equestrian and to begin a lesson and training program.
She is especially excited about starting a Western Dressage program because she loves being able to combine her love for dressage with her roots of western riding.
Her goal is to create understanding in the rider and to encourage harmony between the partnership of horse and rider.
She also believes in teaching her students the importance of horsemanship on the ground as well as in the saddle.
She has also been developing a nutrition program for equestrians to improve their performance as riders and is excited to incorporate that into her programs.
