Detailed description is School 18’s Community Garden will give our students the opportunity to experience the beauty and importance of growing their own food.
Welcome to School 18’s Community Garden Facebook Page! Our garden which is located across from our beautifully renovated school will give students the opportunity to experience the beauty and importance of growing their own food.
Our vision includes students being excited about gardening by getting their hands dirty and working closely with the earth.
We want our students to see the entire process...from seed to dinner table and take pride in what they have accomplished.
We want this garden to be a place where our entire school can come to find solace, serenity and pride.
This garden will not only benefit the students at School #18 immensely, but the surrounding community as well.
We hope that our garden will create a close bond with the surrounding neighborhood so that everyone involved can reap the countless benefits from gardening.
