Detailed description is A 501(c)(3) whose mission is to provide further training for OTTBs in between their last run and transition to safe, nurturing homes.
Ride an OTTB today! We specialize in retraining and re-homing of thoroughbreds both straight off the track and from local at-risk sales ads.
Our horses are assessed and given downtime before beginning the retraining process, with all medical and nutritional needs met prior to training.
Once in retraining, our thoroughbreds learn to have smoother transitions between gaits and become more balanced at the walk, trot and canter.
Horses are introduced to poles and cross rails and eventually graduate to jumping small courses in both our indoor and outdoor riding rings.
All of our thoroughbreds are adopted under a no racing/no auction/no breeding contract with right of first refusal and are in our care for a minimum 30 days before being eligible for adoption.
All of our thoroughbreds are kept up to date on shots, worming, hoof trimming, teeth floating, and all maintain an ideal weight.
Our horses are healthy, happy, and loved!.

Through educational outreach, we work to demonstrate to the public the versatility and trainability of the thoroughbred through clinics, shows and other community events.
We also host low-cost gelding clinics open to all breeds and adopt our mares with a no breeding contract in order to curb over-breeding.
To date we have helped geld 16 equines and have hosted two gelding clinics.
