Meeting needs for community children through the love of Jesus Christ.
SHINE Ministries is a community outreach program at First United Methodist Church in Millville, NJ.
We focus on bringing children throughout center city Millville into a safe and loving environment.
We meet the very real needs of their families while coming along side them to learn about Jesus Christ..

During the school year we welcome children PreK through 12th grade.
We help them with their homework, reading and math skills, Bible lessons/studies, Life groups aimed at facing some of the challenges our kids are facing.
We play games, make crafts, and most importantly they receive the unconditional love of Jesus Christ.
Every day before dismissal we serve a hot meal provided by the Community Food Bank of NJ..

During the summer we offer a five day a week program for children PreK through 12th grade.
We serve lunch followed by a scheduled activity.
We offer field trips to explore Gods amazing creation.
We offer two weeks of camp, one for children PreK through 5th grade and the other is for teens 6th grade and up.
Each week the children serve throughout our community as well as learn how to live out their faith.
