Croix River, boating, wakeboarding, waterskiing, knee boarding, tubing, canoeing, and camping.
I completed my Nursing degree at the College of St.
Catherine, in later years I became a travel RN and was able to live on the island of Maui, Hawaii.
While I was there I picked up the sport of surfing.
Unlike many others sports there are many variations to surfing; wind surfing, kite surfing, long board, short board.
I came to love Stand Up Paddle Surfing.
I was able to go catch waves one day and the next go for a 5 mile paddle.
My admiration for the sport grew and grew.
When I came back to MN I was telling everyone about it and they didn't quite get what I was talking about.
