Je veux partager avec vous mes souvenirs de ce petit village ,mais avant tout de préserver son histoire !.
J'ai laissé St-Léon en 1969 pour venir m'établir ici en Colombie,et avec ma blonde "Michelle Barrette" également de St- Léon,que j'ai épouse il y a maintenant plus de 41 ans ,nous avons élevé une petite famille de trois enfants (Steve, Mark et Sonia ),! Nous sommes grand-parents de 6 petits enfants ( Daniel- Jordan, Kristian- James (DCD en 1993 à 2 ans) Gina,Claudia,Alexandra et Emely..

J'ai travaillé dans l'industrie de la forest ,comme conducteur de machineries lourde ,un métier que j'ai exercé pendant 38 ans,j'ai travaille 6 ans comme boucher dans un centre d'achat ici à Revelstoke , une petite ville d'envion 8000 habitants ! Travailler dans la charcuterie a été mon premier métier don j'avais fait mon apprentissage en 1968 ,au marché Central de Mr.
Zénon Bellavance d'Amqui !.
Maintenant je suis a la retraite depuis 2012..

St-Léon a toujours eu une place assez spéciale dans mon ptit que-coeur et c'est pour cette raison que j'ai construit ce petit site de Saint-Léon-Le-Grand "Mon Pays mes Amours" un excellent moyen aussi de demeurer en contact avec mes parents et amis ,et de présever son histoire ! En fait c'est en sorte un petit cadeau que je donne à cette petite communauté!.
