The Summer Academic Programs Office hosts 6 pre-college programs each summer to give high-achieving high school students the opportunity to live and learn on a small, liberal arts campus.
The programs (Summer Writing Program, Summer Quantitative Reasoning Institute, Carleton Summer Science Institute, Summer Humanities Institute, Summer Computer Science Institute, and the Language and Global Issues Institute) each focus on a liberal arts theme where students work one-on-one with Carleton faculty and current students in the classroom and research lab.
