The Morris Room is named after Ryan’s grandparents, Bob & Betty Morris.
Bob would tell Ryan of his Sunday trips to the local market in Philadelphia as a child, his wooden cart piled high with vegetables from the family garden.
Bob was tasked to sell this produce to provide extra income for his family during the end of The Great Depression.
Ryan also has vivid memories of eating meals on his grandparents’ back porch, which were prepared by Betty using vegetables from her garden.
