Constructed for our community and friends in order to be kept up to date with what, where, how and why we intend to promote the concept of a locally operating community gym..

Living in Piha for 2 years, I wondered how long it would be before a fitness facility would be in place.
Now nearing 10 years in Piha and where my family call home, we sense it is time to have a central hub where structured fitness and sport activities can be performed..

My family and I, with the support of local families, individuals and businesses, would like to propose to the community, a structure consisting of 3 fabricated shipping containers.
These would be located within the campground, with full support of the current lease holder, Fiona Anderson..
This will achieve approx 90sq/m of user friendly gym space, housing equipment you would find at your regular gym, as well as equipment/activities designed to promote surfing strengths.
We intend to run activities such as bootcamps, touch teams (youth and adult), Physio, personal training sessions, sport teams, boxing classes etc.
The list is endless..

Here we promote work for local individuals whom are already within the industry to potentially have a work place nearer to home..
