The Twin Ports Ministry to Seafarers was incorporated in 1969 as an ecumenical ministry to the thousands of men, women and children who visit our ports by ship.
In 1975 the physical facilities of the center changed from a 60-foot trailer located at Garfield Avenue to our present facility on West Third Street..

Support for the ministry is through 13 denominations throughout a seven-state area and through numerous private donations, without which the quality of services and care given by the center would be severely reduced..
