I dabbled here, I played around there, but I never got especially serious with anything.
I was simply enjoying the experience and honing my craft.

It's been my dream for many years to own my very own business.
After I was laid off in June 2015, my husband and I decided it was the perfect time for me to pursue that dream.
And so, The Southern Rose (the physical location) opened its doors in July 2015.
It's a dream to be able to set my own hours, spend time with my children, and still be able to contribute financially to help support our family of 5.
It's a dream to be able to creatively express myself, create things with my own hands, and turn junk or rustic pieces into something beautiful.

It gives me such joy and I yearn to share that joy with others by creating beautiful and useful things to make their house a home..
