Purchased in 1855 by James and Anna Way.
The Way Inn is a residential style Bed & Breakfast located in Marshall, MI.
The home was built by George Lay who sold it two years later to James Way.
In 1882, Way began extensive alterations to the home that included changing the pitch of the roof and adding a bay window.
In 1891, Way added the two verandas on the front of the house and the picture window on the east side.
