This pub was opened in August 1994 and has always been called The Wrong’Un.
Prior to being a pub this was an old furniture and carpet shop..
The pub takes its name from an old traditional name given to the bowling technique used in cricket what is today known as a “spinner”.
Back in the late 1800’s the site where the pub is today was an old cricket ground where many men would play cricket and the phase would be “he bowled a Wrong’Un”..
The pub is open Monday- Sunday, 8am till 12 am everyday..
