Detailed description is Timberfield farm is a small homestead on Haytown mountain, Clinton Township, Hunterdon county NJ.
Purveyors of timber, heirloom vegetables, heritage breeds Timberfield farm: The homestead was founded in the 1800s.
Original construction utilized stone from the properth for the foundation and hand-hewn beans.
The original structure unfortunately burned down, but the foundation remained.
In 1930's the Hachtmann family build the current house while reportedly living in the barn, pending completion of the home.
