was purchased and started in 1913 by Jacob and Ada Geerlings.
In 1940, Jacob's son Henry and his wife Gertrude Geerlings took over the business.
Then in 1988, Henry's sons, Jack, Richard, and Don took over as the 3rd generation owners and operators of the family farm.
As of 2014, Jack's son John Geerlings joined, bringing Townline to 4 generations!.

hatches baby chicks and poultry and ships them nation wide through the United States Postal Service.
We currently carry 15 different egg laying breeds, of which is hatched out of our breeder flocks of 40,000 chickens.
We also carry a broiler/meat breed, four different duck breeds, broad breasted turkeys in two different colors, pheasant chicks, and guinea chicks..
