*Ty's note - I have known Jessica since I played little league all stars with her older brother, I admit I had a crush on her back then, but she contacted me when she was unsuccesful getting her house sold through another Realtor in town and it expired, (thats a whole different issue however he is a really good one and a friend of mine also) but her house to me was the perfect listing I really felt like I could get it sold.
It was in the area I specialize in Hamburg/40509, vacant, and immaculate.
It happened that one of my other clients were looking to buy in that area and price range, I showed it to them and they loved it.
I just had to sell his house! I did, and they bought it, and I bought her furniture to use in one of my model houses.

I was commuting from Morehead to Lexington, and gas prices started to rise so I knew it was time to jump into buying a home.
Along the way I found out Ty was a realtor, and thought who better.
Luckily Ty was a friend of mine, so that made the choice a little easier.
He worked as hard for me as he did a customer he didn't know, and that says a lot.
I've had friends help with things, and I'm last on the list because I'm their friend and I'll understand.
Not Ty.
He had me bring a list of houses I liked, and he would bring a list.
He was then kind enough to drive me to each of these, and give his opinion on not only the home, but the home as an investment since most home owners don't stay in their first home long.
We had it narrowed down to two home, and it was one from my list and one from his.
I was leaning hard toward mine but he really help me understand that one was a better investment.
In the end he was right, which I rarely give him credit for as a friend.
As a realtor you won't find anyone that will work harder for you, and he's like a shark when it comes to getting you the best deal.
He'll push for what you want, and will help you get it.
He's very down to earth, a straight shooter, and that's what makes him a great realtor.
He does a lot of extra that you don't even pay for such has his insightful youtuble videos, and posting on social sites that help you understand the market.

*Ty's note - what can I add to this? I have known Brian since he tried to pick up my girlfriend then, now my wife, in 1996 his pledge first semester in college.
Then he pledged my fraternity....it was great set up for me, I had him right where I wanted him.
But it turns out we bacame pretty good friends and still are.
I am amazed at how much he remembers of the buying process, it was pretty right on.

Gamble - Jan 19, 2012 I found myself searching for my first home earlier this year, after countless dead ends I was finally refered to Ty through a friend.
From the very beginning Ty was upfront and honest about both my expectations and the home buying process.
I was concerned about being able to to view homes because of my hectic work schedule but Tys flexibility was unmatched.
Within only a few short weeks Ty was able to get me in a wonderful first home which me and my family have enjoyed so much this holiday season.

*Ty's note - Turns out Doug also was in the same fraternity in college, and after years of seeing him about every other day at his work at a big home improvement store, he'd say well one day I am going to buy, I think we actually started the process two or 3 times, and this year he finally did it.
I really was initially against this house, as I had assumed it would not be a good purchase, so I tried to hold off on it hoping he would like another one on our list, I put it to the very back of the stack.
It didn't work.
So I went and checked it out, and I was like man was I wrong, this is a great deal.
I think we did very well in the end, it was a process getting there with the sellers, but we made it..
