Detailed description is University of Rochester Chapter of the Optical Society of America The OSA is both a pre-professional organization and an academic club.
We network students with professors and alumni to both teach them about the field, and help them find employment in Optics.
Many connections are made at the numerous events held by the OSA that are open to all in the Optics department, such as the OSA Picnic and the O-Socials..

The OSA holds study sessions for Optics students to get together and do homework, and also meet uppclassmen and graduate students.
